TonePort/POD Studio: USB Audio Monitoring (No Sound From Computer's Built-In Speakers)

VERSION 4

Created on: Nov 7, 2006 2:47 AM by Line6Miller - Last Modified:  Aug 17, 2009 9:54 AM by Line6Miller

Once you've installed the latest drivers for your Line 6 USB device on your computer's operating system, connect audio monitors/speakers to the audio outputs of your Line 6 USB device or use the headphone output jack. You can download the latest software from our website at the Downloads page.

The built-in soundcard output of your computer will not output processed amp/effect tones from GearBox/POD Farm software. Also, connecting the audio output from your TonePort/XT device into the audio input of your default soundcard will result in you hearing latency (short echo/delay). Please connect your computer speakers to the output of the TonePort/XT device and not your original computer's soundcard output.

Please see the pic below illustrating a correct setup and connectino example.

I got a MAYA 44 PCI soundcard installed in my PC.

What i want to do is connect the speakers in the MAYA audio out.

And use that soundcard for synths and other plug ins and Ableton Live and the UX2, just for the guitar

Is it possible¿?
