A great band aid...he he...ok, it wasn't that funny

We're doing something that might help you guys out.  We've started a Gmail account for the band.  What's great is there is a calander function, where you can put down all the important dates-shows, practices but even more importantly, when people are busy. You can put down all the details of a show-address, phone number, load in time, whether they have a backline, other bands etc.

Believe me that'll help when you are trying arrange things.  Also, you can upload documents, artwork and other stuff, so if you have a flyer idea you can post it and all the others can sign in and look at it immediately, instead of waiting for practice and taking up precious time when you should be playing.  You can setup a email group and email everyone at once.  For example, if you're trying to arrange practice or a show, first you can check the calander (get them to enter their blackout dates-everybody has to do this or it's useless) and then if it looks good, send an email to the group asking if the date is good.

Make sure you tell everyone how to sign on and what the password is.

This is really saving us a lot of time and helping us all know what's going on.
