pod farm plug in not altering sound of dry guitar tracks?

I've got a PODxt, and am using it as a dongle, with the Pod Farm plug in  in my DAWs (Energy XT and Ableton Live Lite 7).

I've got a dry guitar track, and I have "inserted" the Pod Farm plug in.  But the plug in doesn't appear to have an effect.  I change amp, etc, and the tone is still dry -- though it cuts out for amoment when I change amps etc.

I've hunted around and dont find any special settings in the plug in that I can tweak.

Other VST effects that I insert work fine on the same track.  It's just that PodFarm vst doesn't.

I'm suire I am missing something obvious?  (Yes the lower status bar in the pod farm plug in says it sees the authorized device PODxt.)

Hi,

Do you have the latest POD Farm (1.11) software build installed? The CD version is much older and several bug fixes have been implemented since the CD version.

  Installer (Windows): http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=2589

  Installer (Mac): http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=2588
