SD-CARD Problems

I am trying to update my JM4's Firmware. Purchased a new 2GB SD Card, formatted it on the JM4, but my computer says the card is not formatted so i am unable to copy the fw.bin file to it. Any ideas? If i try to format the card on my computer, it says 'the card can not be formatted'. ??????

Re: SD-CARD Problems

SD stands for secure digital.  this is because there's a little clip on the side of the card which you can move to write protect the card.  double check that it is in the correct position to allow you to write to the card, otherwise you can't do anything.

+1 to Rowbi's response

Please check to see if the SD Card has been set to write protected.  If so, move the little slider switch to the off position so that you can write onto the card.
