Using Line 6 UX1 with XP software on my Windows Vista laptop

Hello, here is my problem. I just purchased Propellhead's Record program and want to use my Line 6 UX1 as my controller. I have a Sony VAIO that has Windows Vista. I was using my Line 6 UX1 on my emachine desktop with Windows XP. The problem is that my Line 6 UX1 Software is for Windows XP. Would it install on my Windows Vista ok? Or do I need a new software cd? If it won't work am I better off just buying new Line 6 UX1 that comes with ne software? I really don't want to mess around with system settings just to use old software for XP on my Vista system. Thanks for your help.   Matt

download the latest software form the downloads link at the top of this page.  you may find that there's an update to your XP pc too.

RE: Using Line 6 UX1 with XP software on my Windows Vista laptop

Hello,

As Rowbi mentioned, you can download the latest version of Gearbox (3.70) which is Vista compatible from our software downloads page and this should resolve your issue.

  Has this answered your question?
