Hi,
I own a Line 6 PODxt Live before and i bought the Metal Shop Plugin and registered it to my account. I gave the PODxt Live to my cousin since i just bought a POD Studio GX. As what i understand, plugin licenses are not transferable, my question is, can i use the plugin for my POD Studio GX? and why the Metal Shop Plugin license does not appear on my account? There is no way that i can plug again the PODxt Live to my PC to retrieve the license because he is in another country. Is there any other way to retrive the Metal Shop back to my account? Thanks!
the license will show in your account as installed to your POD, unless you transferred the ownership of it to him, but it should still show in your list, so you should be able to click transfer, then get him to connect it to his PC, start line6 monkey and click transfer. this should uninstall the metal license. then you can install it.
if that doesn;t work, then you might be stuck.
Hello,
When you gave the POD to your cousin the model pack went with it. What you should have done was transferred the model pack before you gave it to him. However, all hope may not be lost.
Since you purchased the model pack under your account, you can go into the license keys link under the My Account section of the website and set that pack to a transferred state.
Once you have done that you can call your cousin and have him connect the POD to Monkey, go to the Optional Add Ons tab and click on the Transfer button. This will give you back free reign of the model pack.
Do you think you could arrange that with your cousin?

Thanks Rowbi and Miller,
Actually thats my other problem, i dont have any contact with my cousin since we moved last year... and i dont have have any idea if he's still have my POD. What i see in my account was just the PODxt Live and the POD Studio, the license of my Metal Shop is not there. As i remember i have a screenshot of the serial key when i was trying to register the plugin to my account, but im not quite sure if its the right key since it took me a couple of tries to get it right.
