variax 300 problem

my guitar variax 300 don´t work well, is jumpin beetwen the guitars selection, I have a pod xt live, this is the only way to change the guitars presets, what can I do to repair?, I don´t know haw to restart it, somebody knows about it?

Hello,

  You should start by reflashing the Variax.  See the following link for the procedure:

If you are still having problems you will need to get the unit serviced at a Line 6 service center:

if the  reflash  doesnt  work   try  spraying  some  contact  cleaner  down the   shaft  of  that pot  and  in the  sides.  work  the  knob  back  and  fourth.  if that dont  work then   follow  andys  advice  and  send  it out for repair.
