I record the video with the built in webcam of the notebook, which has no mic. I have the UX2 set up as the external soundcard, so the internal is deactivated. I record the video using windows movie maker (win xp). It doesn't matter in which application the playback is running (winamp, reaper, wmp, etc), I can hear it when recording, but on the video there is just me playing the guitar.
When I import the playback to reaper, I can record my guitar tracks to that, no problem. So one possibility would be to record the video with wmm and the audio seperately with reaper and then import the whole audio recording into wmm. But it will be some work to sync the audio with the vid.
Maybe it's easier to purchase a good webcam with a mic (the internal cam doesn't make the best pictures anyway, it's ok, but far from great) and record that with my practice am and the playback running over speakers...
