I use a bunch (3-4) of instances of PFPI to re-amp dry guitar in most of my SONAR projects. Sometimes, when I save a project and re-open it, I find that when I press play, none of the guitar tracks going through POD Farms are audible; I don't mean unprocessed, I mean there is silence. When I trun off the plugin via the SONAR console's FX bin, the unprocessed guitar take comes through, but then I turn PF back on again and it disappears. Whenever this happens, the problem instance(s) of PFPI don't show any activity - no signal is registering on the input meters. It seems to happen with every instance in a project at the same time, and just as randomly as the problem seems to occur, sometimes they will all come back to life the next time the project is re-visited. Anyone else see this or have any idea whats going on? For reference, POD Farm is 1.11, SONAR is 8.3.1, and OS is XP 32-bit. Thanks a lot
Hello,
This issue is news to me. Can you reproduce this problem every time?
Have you tried updating Sonar to the latest version? I could be wrong but I believe the latest version is 8.5.

Please note that the 8.5 upgrade is not free for most users as it was a new release and not just a bug fix. 8.3.1 works fine with pod farm on my system and I run several instances as I use it as my primary effects engine for everything. I know if my asio buffers are to small I run into wierd behavior. What are your hardware specs. What kind of chipset, sound card, and memory are you running?
Hello,
It's been a couple of days since we've heard from you. We're going to assume your question has been answered and close this thread. If you still have questions please feel free to open a new question with us and we will answer your questions accordingly. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies everybody. I forgot I hadn't put my DAW configuration in my sig like on other forums I'm involved with, so here it is:
ASUS P5EVM-HDMI mobo
E-MU 1212m interface
SONAR 8.3.1 (JUST got my 8.5/8.5.1 upgrade, so I don't know if the problem is going to persist in the new version)
8GB RAM
ASIO drivers
UAD-2 Quad card
I haven't seen the problem pop up since I last posted, but like I said, it doesn't happen every time. I will be working with 8.5 a bit more uder both my Win 7 x64 and XP x86 configurations a lot the next few days so I'll let you know if anything else develops. Thanks again
Oh, and my processor is a Q9300
OK. Thanks for the information. Let us know if you discover anything consistent with this. I'm going to close the thread out for now but feel free to re-open it when you have anything new to report. Thanks.
