UX2

Hi,

 

I am currently using my macbook to record tracks on Logic Express (Version 8) and garageband.

 

I have no difficulty in recording guitars and midi instruments. However, I have recently purchased a soundtronics STC-2 condenser mic and can't get it to work. I know the mic s working - but can't get anything out of it using the ux2 with logic express or garageband. I assume this will have something to do with settings, altough I expcted to see some response on the level monitors on the ux 2. I would welcome any suggestions.

as not everyone here owns a UX2. My only question is does the UX2 have phantom powering or do you have some phantom power externally for that mic?

Thanks for that. I'll see what I can find. The ux2 has phantom powering.

Hello,

 

  So you definitely have turned the phantom power on?

 

  Do both XLR inputs behave the same way? Have you tried another microphone just to see if the inputs on the UX2 themselves are not damaged?
