Audio skips (drops out) on new Dell Studio laptop running Windows 7.

I recently purchased a Dell studio laptop and installed Pod Farm and Gear Works.  Using my Line 6 Ux2, the audio drops outs momentarily so it sounds like the audio is skipping.  The Ux2 and Line 6 software wors fine on my older desktop running Windows XP.  What's up?

Hi,

 

  You may have older drivers installed on this new Windows 7 machine. Please be aware that at this point, our software is not yet supported in Windows 7 but we do have a Beta USB device driver available for users to try.

  Until we have supported release builds for Windows 7, we cannot guarantee trouble-free operating on this particular OS currently. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience.

Thanks, that seems to have fixed the problem.  I installed the new beta drivers and adjusted the buffer and all is well.
