Hi everyone,
I have noticed that some of you are experiencing blue screen crashes on your Windows 7 machines at times when using a Line 6 device. I appreciate all of the useful information you have given us so far. One thing that I'd like to do is consolidate as much of this information as possible into this one thread. This will make the issue easier for us to look into. Below is a template containing some questions. Please cut and paste this template in your response and answer each question as precisely and as detailed as you can. Recipes and repro cases are welcome as well. Thanks guys!
What are the detailed specs of your computer (model type, processor type and speed, RAM, motherboard, chipset)?
When does the crash occur? During recording? Streaming audio and video through various players?
How often does the crash occur? Intermittent? Always?
Are you able to reproduce the crash? If so can you give us a recipe or repro steps?
Are any crash logs generated when this occurs? If so can you please attach them as a file (.doc, .txt, etc will work fine) to your response?
Hopefully we can use this thread to spot some trends. Thanks for you cooperation everyone.

(Answers to Questions)
"When i use the Line 6 Device as default playback speakers" I get a "blue screen" intermittently, once in a day or two days.
For a week now, I didn't use it as the default speaker. And ever since, I didn't experience any "blue screen" anymore ...
Except that,
"Now that I use the built in soundcard as the default playback speakers" The random crash is replaced with "white noise" that happens the same once in a day or two days. My computer is on, 15 hours a day... I haven't been recording much lately but I have music on the background most of the time...
The crash doesn't necessarily happen during play back but when the program is communicating with the the Line6 driver. I don't have the exact formula to make it crash. Sometimes, I just leave the application open (Sonar, Virtual DJ, Gearbox), and after sometime it just crash. Note that this "white noise" happens when I use the built in sound card as the default playback speakers. I am more comfrotable with the "white noise" than the 'blue screen". The "white noise" doesn't bother me that much since I can always restart the pc after sometime and save important datas.
Greater problems occur when I use the Line6 device as the default playback speakers, just what I have previously mentioned, I get a "blue screen" randomly. The blue screen freaks me out! So I suggest to users that, if you want to get rid of the blue screen, don't use Line6 as the default speakers for Windows 7 for now, just not until they release the final driver. There are some programs that you can use for music playback which could be configured to use Line6 ASIO as the ouput, in my case I use Virtual DJ. Web browsers use the default playback speakers, if you don't use Line6 as default for now, you may avoid the "blue screen" if ever the driver fails.
I hope you Line6 guys fix the driver soon.
Good Luck and More Power!

I have no checked the mini dump files as of yet, but the BSOD refers to a line6 system file. If you would like me to put up the dump file let me know!
I just wanted to chime-in & mention that after about 15 blue screen crashes which were increasing in frequency,
reinstalling the beta drivers seemed to "reset the clock" to where the crashes were fewer.
Further, I noticed that if you reinstall & refrain from restarting the PC after, it takes much longer for the bad behavior to resume again.

More and more and more crash... They appear more and more usually, like every 10 minutes. More and more bored.
/line6 driver uninstalled...
Blue screen win.
Hey guys,
Any chance any of you can attach some screen dumps or crash logs to your posts?
