UX2 recording

I recently bouhgt an UX 2 from someone else.

I wanna record 3-4 instruments at once an than also that recording goes to seperate channels.

I didn't get the Ableton application or do I have to download this.

the UX2 (clue in the name) can record a maximum of 2 inputs at once.

 

you can use any supported recording software, you don't need to use ableton.  check out audacity which is free, or reaper which is free to use as a trial, and then it's cheap to buy.  you can select to record different inputs to different tracks in the recording software.

   This is correct. You may want to look into the UX-8, which offers 8 different audio signals at once.
