Second-hand XT Live Registration

Hi,

I bought a PODxt Live second-hand but I cannot register it as it has been registered previously. I cannot get in touch with the person who originally registered it. (The guy I bought it off got it second-hand himself and it had already been registered by then). I would really appreciate some help with this. Thanks.

I would also like to know about this. When the FAQ says you need to submit a

copy of the sales receipt -- do they mean the original??

 

Let's say I buy an X3 Live used on craigslist, and it came without the original bill

of sale, and I then find that I cannot register it on this site because it was already

registered, what next?  Is there any way Line 6 can send a message to theuser

to whom it is already registered to confirm that they approve of the transfer?

 

(it would be handy if there was a way to just plug in the serial# and see if it is)

 

BTW, I tried submitting a support request under the X3 section, but the site kept

bouncing me through the text entry box and likely submitting blank requests...

hey, my pod xt does not have a registration key as i got a second hand one. what should i do in order to register the product. please help this s driving me crazy..

The guys at Line6 need the serial number on your XT Live in order to re-register it under your account. It's located at the back just under the input jack socket. It might start with "(21)FPD. . . " They will set up a support ticket, which in my case meant they just sorted it for me and that was the end of it. I posted my request in two sections of Line6.com. You found me on this one but it was the other forum that I got this sorted from. You should post a request there too. You find it by clicking Support on the main page. Then you'll see a link for "POD support". Then another link that has "PODxt Family" in the title. Good luck. Give them a few days to get back to you though...
