Thanks for the reply, i've been using Line 6 for years, I have POD XT Pro, POD XT Live and now the Vetta II HD, so I'm very familiar with line 6 edit and how to use the pedals.  I can kick on the wah pedal but can not control it so the button works. I did try to calibrate the pedal, it didn't work, I also went through the menus on the vetta head to make sure it was assigned to the wah function.  As one last test I'll hook it up to the edit software and see.

i have an RA number from ams already.  I'll try a different cat 5 cable as well, but i was hoping it was something simple like a setting on the amp itself -which it doesnt seem to be.  shipping back is paid for by AMS as well, so no complaints there.
