I don't know this looks promising, based on X3 models potential is there to be a decent amp, maybe great.

Maybe.

Remember, the Spider III is based on POD 2 models. So is the Spider Valve. And there's an obvious winner, at least in my mind, between the two. So I think they're going to have to improve a whole lot more than just where they got the models from to make it a great amp.

Looking forward to seeing what the Spider Valve MKII is going to bring also.

Where are you guys finding out about these new amps? I didn't even know there was a Vetta 2. And does the Vetta 2 have mic models and cabs not found on any other amp or Pod?

Spider Valve Mk2 will be a Spider4 it looks like .just with the added Bogner valve/power section.

I think the amps on the store site ,were not the final look though .another thread is hinting at a more "grown up look .less metal.

still pretty cool though If you get a intelligent pitchshifter and a looper and a bunch of M13 quality fx...

One thing I have also noticed in the posting is it looks like confirmation to some sort of Improvement to the models themselves .

ARRRGGGGGgggggg!!!!!!

I just took delivery on a Spider III 75. Oh well, I only use the amp and cabinet models in it. The effects come from my pedalboard. The III 75 is still a great amp for what I do with it and you cannot beat the going price for a new one. It cost less than the Short Board I attached to it. Hell, it cost less than many of my individual pedals. I guess I cannot complain.

Grr your kidding right I just bought a Spider Valve 212, read alot of stupid reviews from stupid people on it. Everyone bashes it which its just like motorcycle racing, it's not the bike it's the driver. Same goes with guitars a lot of younger kids say crap and talk in the forums with no knowledge what so ever. The amp amplifies what you play, it doesn't matter how many pedals a person has or gear if they play like crap the amp will play the same crap they are putting into it. I am sorry it just pisses me off how people bash Line 6. I just got back into playing and took a 18 year break, yes you heard it right sucks because the innovations of technology now are awesome back in the day I use to play the first ever Les Paul EP around that time Zakk was first making a name for himself with Ozzy. The gear and pedals were minimal and the best pedal at the time was the Hendrix pedal along with Crybaby Wah. That is how long ago it was jeeshz I think I will shoot myself now lol!

i know it's trendy to recycle, but "Revamped Line 6 Modeling Technology" followed by "based on the top-selling POD®X3" which in itself is based on XT models is not very exciting to me. Oh well.

I don't see any Line6 bashing going on at all. Because Line6 offers products that people can afford, they will be subject to a lot of critisicm. It is almost always true that you get what you pay for, but in this case you get alot for what you pay for.

Read most of the bad stuff over at the musician's friend website. When I was doing a run down or what amp I should get. I am happy that I purchased one I watched the Guitar World review of it on youtube and I was amazed so I would have to say I will be very happy. Just can't wait for this tour in Iraq to end so I can get home and start playing again.

Now thats a great motivator to play again!

I toured and stopped playing as well! (1976 - 2000) But I did Music tours (And only was shot at 3 times) Never mind going into war zones!

Whats it like there for you?
