Chorus Flange problem on my Line 6 Spider III amp

My Chorus Flange dial on my Line 6 Spider III 15 watt amp, when turned all the way down to off, does not stop generating the effect. Is there a way I can fix this at home, or will this need servicing? I have already performed a factory reset.

Hello,

 

  If you've already reset your amp and ruled out cables etc. then you should contact a local service center near you and have the amp serviced for repair.

I was hoping this was something I could repair on my own. The nearest service center is an hour away. Oh well.
