Question

My line 6 flexitone 111 xl plus loses volume after a few minutes which has the affect of losing tone. Can this be fixed if so how. Will having a service fix this problem

I suspect this is the drifting knobs syndrome...likely the gain or channel volume...

 

You can connect you Flex to Edit and "see" if this is the case...What I recomend is parking all the knobs minus the master to zero, recall your patches. I have been using Line 6 for quite a while and every amp has done this...Parking the knobs at zero for performance prevents it...Unless there is something else going on like a failing transistor or a pot that is really broken...

  +1 to the post above. If parking your knobs does not solve your problem you may have a faulty potentiometer which you should have replaced by a local authorized service center.
