recording guitar without band

Hey, I am about to buy a spider jam. I just tried it the other day but wasn't able to record the guitar only on the SD card, without the "band". Is it possible?

Recording guitar alone is the function that interests me the most with this amp, I don't give a f*&k about jamming with the recorded songs... thanks for your help!

All you have to do is turn down the playback level of the backing track to zero. It will play, but you won't hear it in the recording.

The playback levels are in the iNPUTS/LEVEL menu.

what Joe sugested is essentially 'jamming without the bands'

Turn all input levels to 0 except for the guitar, hit REC and play.

as far as I can tell this is the only way to record guitar only and it works fine I do it all the time

You can record just the guitar by pressing Drums then arrow across to Recordings and off you go. No drums, no jamming, no band. Just guitar. Add some overdubs if you like then save the recording to your SD card.
