DrFunk Best played thru 2 amps,Hope this nails the 4 Love of God tone for you. Set for Dream rigs so pre-amp only no cabs. at low volumes you can use full amp models and try the blackback 30 cab. I put this in triode at NFL type III. It will be MUCH louder if you use pentode. type III makes it brighter and fuzzier than type IV. JTV is on Lester 1. Harmonizer is on FS2 set for EM shift to+3. DrFunk Raise amp volumes to taste.a heavy tone for Dream Rigs. JTV is set for Lester 1, there are 2 J45 Pre-amps only no cab/mic models. Full amp models can sound ok at low volumes but for higher- gig volumes use pre-amp models only with no cabs for dream rigs. Always go out thru 2 amps for dual amp presets as DT amps can onlt plat 1 amp/ class/ NFL topology at a time. Jeff has been using strats for decades so this is one of his earlier type tones. 6/16/12

DrFunk Strumming and Ac Leads work here, change input source 2 to Aux for fingerpicking,A versatile acoustic preset for Dream Rigs...JTV set to Ac1 but real acoustic - electrics work here also. Lux normal pre-amp/ no cab ormic. NFL type III may saveyou from needing House PA as this patch sounds decent thru DT amps. Dream rig presets always sound better from 2 ampsif you only have 1 DT amp use L6 link panned toone side then use unbalanced main out to poweramp in of another tube amp panned to theother side 6/18/12

DrFunk 2 Fender Twin Pre-amps/ no cab models. Hope this nails EJ Cln for you. JTV is set for Spank 2 but EJ also uses Spank 4 for rhythm at times. I've added Fuzzface on FS1 and OD is on FS2. If you play out in 2 amps with Dream Rig You might love this tone! 6/17/12

DrFunk switch out the wah for noise gate if you get much noise here...For Dream Rigs- sounds great w DT amps, NFL type IIIe shooting for Jeff Berlin type tone, A really versatile Bass patch-uses Ampeg B-15 Fliptop Pre-amp and Bassman cab w 421 mic for high end (slap and pop), but no cab sound s good too. use the fliptop cab if you want to hear the 8 bass mics. Preset can be playeed with guitar too as there is bass Octaver on FS 1, also Big Muff Pi on FS2, Chorus on 3 and EQ on FS 4. Preset was made w Variax 4 string Bass on Manta Green Channel model. very useful Bass 6/20/12

Model Packs increase the number of Amp or FX Models of a GuitarPort, TonePort, PODxt, PODxt Live or PODxt Pro, for a wider variety of tone possibilities. When a particular tone in the library relies on a Model available in one of these packs, you'll see symbol(s) to indicate which Packs: MS (Metal Shop), CC (Classics Collection), FX (FX Junkie), and PP (Power Pack).

The models within the FX Junkie Model Pack are already included in PODxt Live, and offered for purchase to add-on to GuitarPort, TonePort, PODxt and PODxt Pro.

Variax is the uniquely flexibile guitar from Line 6. Our Vetta II amplifier includes a digital connection for the Variax that lets you store settings for both your amp and your guitar in the Vetta II so that when you call up a Vetta Channel Memory your amp and guitar can change sounds together. Vetta II Tones marked with this guitar symbol include this Variax data.

For each tone in the library, you'll see an icon for either a single coil or humbucker pickup. This tells you whether the tone is best for use with a single coil pickup or a humbucker, so you can select the appropriate pickup on your guitar when using this tone.

Attention POD 2.0, Flextone and HD147 owners... Your hardware doesn't do Stomp effects, so you'll hear something different than what was intended. Try increasing the Drive or choose a higher gain Amp Model to get the right sound. The other aspects of the sound should translate as expected, so you'll at least get a great starting place for tweaking.
