What is Line 6 Edit?
Line 6 Edit™ is a free piece of software for Windows® and Mac® OSX from Line 6 that provides editor/librarian features for POD® XT, POD® XT Pro, POD® XT Live, Vetta™ II, HD 147®, Flextone™ III and POD® 2.0. It can be run on its own and in tandem with CustomTone to transfer any one of the thousands of tones directly from the online library to your connected Line 6 product and Line 6 Edit.
How does it work?
Line 6 Edit talks to your PODXT using MIDI, communicating through the provided USB cable or your MIDI cables. Line 6 Edit allows you to see what you’re hearing and create as many tones as your computer hard drive can handle. Now you can easily keep track of thousands of tones for all the different gigs, bands, and sessions you’re doing. Using Line 6 Edit, you can easily rename, move, copy, backup, store, and create killer tones as fast as you think them up.
