STAGESOURCE
L3t and L3m

1,400-watt, 3-way, tri-amped design

LEARN MORE
The woofer/horn/woofer design of L3t and L3m, a studio reference monitor configuration, reflects years of research and has multiple benefits over a traditional two-way 12” woofer and horn design. In L3t and L3m, one 10” driver is optimized for low frequencies, and the other for low- to mid-frequencies, delivering maximum detail and performance where needed. The combined radiating surface area of two 10” drivers is nearly 40% greater than a single 12”, resulting in the movement of more air. The lighter cone and mass of 10” drivers also result in more dynamic low frequency transient response overall.

With the 10” driver handling more of the critical vocal range, the output is incredibly smooth, musical and natural throughout the spectrum. The 10” driver in L3t and L3m has a greater mid-high frequency range than a typical 12” speaker, which allows a higher crossover point to the high-frequency driver. Finally, a dual 10” driver design improves thermal management, as heat is now dissipated from two voice coils rather than one, resulting in high-performance durability.

A precision-engineered 100x50-degree constant-directivity waveguide delivers consistent coverage throughout its entire frequency range, ensuring everyone in the audience gets the same acoustic experience. The 100-degree horizontal dispersion is wide enough for solo use yet controlled enough for arrayed pairs. The 50-degree vertical coverage reduces acoustic smear from reflective sound surfaces, as minimal energy is reflected off of ceilings and floors.

The high driver uses class AB amplification, which delivers analog tone and handles clipping gracefully. The low drivers utilize Class D amplification, which reproduces the bass with excellent dynamics and plenty of on-demand power.

STAGESOURCE L3s

1,200-watt, bi-amped design

LEARN MORE
With enough power to deliver punchy low end to large audiences, StageSource L3s features a 1,200-watt, bi-amplified design for superb bass reproduction and maximum headroom. The dual 12-inch woofers are mounted in a bass reflex configuration for extended bass response and extremely low distortion.

When connected to other StageSource speakers, L3s automatically configures all crossovers for system-wide optimization—so you can be confident that your system is always correctly configured.

When integrating the StageSource L3s with third party systems, you can configure the crossover frequency settings manually, selecting from 80Hz, 100Hz, 120Hz, or “Off” if you are using a speaker controller. Selecting a crossover frequency simultaneously selects the high-pass frequencies sent to the stereo outputs.

STAGESOURCE
L2t and L2m

800-watt, two-way, bi-amped design

LEARN MORE
The two-way, bi-amplified design of L2t and L2m delivers exceptionally balanced, clean and articulate reproduction of live sources and pre-recorded material. A 1” exit high-frequency compression driver is matched to a precision-engineered, 100x50-degree, constant-directivity waveguide, which delivers consistent coverage to ensure everyone in the audience enjoys the same acoustic experience.

The 100-degree horizontal dispersion is wide enough for solo use yet controlled enough for arrayed pairs. The 50-degree vertical coverage reduces acoustic smear from reflective sound surfaces, as minimal energy is reflected off of ceilings and floors.

INTEGRATED
DIGITAL MIXER WITH EFFECTS

Complete control of your live sound.

Not only is it inconvenient to haul a ton of outboard gear to gigs, it increases the chances of something going wrong during your set. StageSource L3t and L2t feature an onboard mixer with two high-quality mic preamps, a three-band EQ with sweepable mid and two studio quality effects processors. You also get multiple inputs for microphones, instruments, external mixers and MP3 players—more inputs than anything else in its class. And if you connect two L3t or L2t speakers via L6 LINK cables, you can mix the signals of the two onboard mixers for up to 10 inputs. It’s everything you need to sound great on stage. All in one speaker.

ONBOARD ACOUSTIC
GUITAR MODELING

Get the warmest, fullest live acoustic guitar sound possible.

We’ve spent years researching what makes guitarists sound great, and applied our knowledge and technology to next-generation speakers that deliver amazing tone for acoustic players. StageSource L3t and L2t are the only PAs that provide acoustic guitar body resonance modeling, giving your acoustic guitar impressive tone and body resonance.

Learn more

Most acoustic guitars feature piezo pickups, which transfer the vibration of the strings to your PA speaker—but miss the resonance of the wooden guitar body. So you get stuck with thin, bright sound. Only StageSource features Variax® acoustic body resonance modeling, giving your acoustic guitar the impressive tone it deserves.

INTEGRATED FEEDBACK SUPPRESSION

Distraction-free performance so you can sound your best.

Unless you’ve got your own personal sound engineer, it can be almost impossible to resolve feedback issues while you’re performing. That’s why StageSource stops feedback before it even starts. An intelligent 12-band feedback suppression system identifies problem frequencies on the fly and adjusts levels automatically—without affecting your overall sound.

Learn more

StageSource feedback suppression continuously analyzes the audio signal, identifying frequencies that have the characteristics of feedback (steady frequencies with few overtones, rising in amplitude) and then applies a narrow notch filter to remove the offending frequency. The system can remove up to 12 independent feedback frequencies—more than any other speaker in its class. You can set the feedback analyzer to one of three modes, depending on how aggressively you want the analyzer to seek out potential feedback frequencies.
