Reason Adapted 4 Line 6 with POD Studio UX2 Registration Process

To obtain your license number, you need to register your Reason Adapted license to a Propellerhead user account first. If you don't already have an account, you can create one here: https://www.propellerheads.se/userReg/

1. Log in to your account and click the "Reason Adapted" link to the right, in the "Register/Upgrade" section.

2. Select your product version (Reason Adapted Version 4 for Line 6) and click "Continue". You'll be prompted for your registration code - this is the code printed on the card supplied with the software.

3. Once you've entered your registration code, your license number will be sent to you in an email. Enter this number into the corresponding field during the final step of software installation along with your Name and Organization info.

You'll also be able to see your license number at any time if you log in to your Propellerhead Account and click the "Your Products" link at the top of the page.

In our partnership with Propellerhead, support for Reason, Reload and ReCycle will be offered through their web site. This is for a lot of reasons, but mostly because they already have an extensive knowledge base in place and a great mechanism for answering questions that are not covered in their knowledge base.

Firstly, ensure that you have registered your Propellerhead software at the web site. Next, go to the support link and choose the software you are having a problem with, input your product version and OS, and go into the support area of your choice to try to locate the answer to your question. You also have the option of requesting email support from this page.

Please have the following information present before continuing:

1. A valid Propellerhead User Account which would have been created when you first registered your Propellerhead product in the past. Username and/or email address.

2. Proof of Purchase in the form of: photo scan of the product packaging, available contents (software jacket, shipping box, Registration Card) and most importantly a photo scan of either store receipt or online payment receipt.

3. If your inquiry is for a defective DVD or install CD(s), please provide photo proof of disc condition in addition to the items listed above.

4. If your inquiry is for a missing Registration Card, providing us with proof of purchase in the form of scanned receipt or online receipt is a requirement; if the product purchased was for an Upgrade Product, you will need to have a previously registered "full" version of Reason in order to proceed.

Reason Upgrade Paths

Each version of Reason has its own upgrade path. If you buy the wrong upgrade for your registered version of Reason, the upgrade ID/verification number won't work and will not produce a usable license.

A Retail version is only upgraded with a standard Retail Upgrade.

An Academic version is only upgraded with a standard Retail Upgrade.

An EDUx1 version is only upgraded with an EDUx1 upgrade.

An EDUx5 multi-pack is only upgraded with an EDUx5 upgrade.

An EDUx10 multi-pack is only upgraded with an EDUx10 upgrade.

Reason Adapted can be upgraded with the Reason 4 Adapted Upgrade. It will upgrade ANY version of Reason Adapted to a full version of Reason.

NFR's cannot be upgraded

If you have questions as to which version you have, contact Line 6 Support with your http://www.Propellerheads.se username info ready for the phone representative to have your license looked up.

Reason 5 / Record 1.5 Upgrade Information

Upgrade paths for existing registered Propellerhead users

IMPORTANT: Record 1.5 will ONLY work with Reason 5. If you have an existing Reason 4/Record 1.0 pairing in your account, buying Record 1.5 for Reason Owners will not get you Reason 5. However, buying the Reason 5 upgrade will get you the Record 1.5 update.

General FAQ:

Q: Will the free upgrade rebate offer to Reason 5 really take 4-6 weeks to ship to me?

A: Yes. Although Line 6 will do our best to deliver your rebate upgrade as soon as possible, due to the large amounts of rebates that will need to be fulfilled, please allow us 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Q: Can I run Reason 5 with Record version 1.0?

A: No. Reason 5 will only work with the downloadable upgrade of version Record 1.5. Also, Reason 4 will not run with Record 1.5, only Record 1.0.1 or Record 1.0.
