RED is for speech. An example is an individual doing a powerpoint presentation. This could apply to a couple of people speaking at the same time, but the key is that human speech and human speech ONLY, is coming through the system.

YELLOW is for vocal singing. An example would be acapella singing. This could be a group or a solo singer/performer, but it is meant for human singing voice only, with no other instrumentation. You may be able to use this for a singer/songwriter solo guitar and vocal. Yellow can work in this case because guitar and voice are in very similar frequency ranges, but, depending on the material, GREEN may be a better option in that case.

GREEN is intended for universal application and should be used as a default feedback suppression setting. Only switch to the YELLOW or RED setting when the GREEN setting is not properly adressing your feedback concerns, or where feedback reduction is more important than audio quality. Using more aggressive feedback suppression settings may cause sonic artifacts in some cases.

If you are experiencing undesirable artifacts when using Feedback Suppression it may be that a less aggressive setting should be used. Results are typically most pleasing when using the least aggressive setting that is appropriate for the given situation. It is good practice to start with the GREEN mode and only to move on to YELLOW and then RED if feedback is not being properly addressed.

Green is for good and green is for go. In the majority of cases, customers should use green and they will be good to go.

To switch Feedback suppression modes:

Press and hold the FBS button and you will see the colors cycle through, green to yellow to red and back to green. Release the FBS button when you are on the desired setting.

What is the difference between RF1 & RF2?

RF1 will have 4 carrier frequencies per channel, while RF2 will have 2 carrier frequencies per channel. RF2 mode was designed specifically for the use of wireless systems in environments where significant wireless interference is known to exist. In RF2 mode the frequencies of individual channels is shifted slightly to be on frequencies that are known to have less wifi traffic than the corresponding frequencies in RF1 mode. The additional number of carrier frequencies is why RF1 mode can be better for use in environments troubled by wifi interferences, but, again, RF2 mode was designed specifically to skirt that interference. Wireless systems with the channel scan function ONLY scan channels in the RF1 frequency ranges, even if the system is in RF2 mode.

When and Why should I use RF1 vs RF2?

Only use RF2 if experiencing dropouts with RF1 and other troubleshooting (such a line of sight, high power mode, alternative channels, ensuring correct antenna placement, etc.) is not resolving dropout problems.

**IMPORTANT NOTE** Do not mix and match systems in RF1 and RF2 modes! Keep all systems in a given environment in the same RF mode - that means all systems are either in RF1 mode or RF2. Do NOT put some systems in RF1 and others in RF2 - this will cause the systems to interfere with eachother. *******

Line 6 Wireless Modes RF2 & RF1

The new V75, 55 and 35 default to RF2 mode, but include the ability to be switched into RF1 mode. You cannot use RF2 mode in the presence of any older Line 6 2.4G wireless (including Relay) in the same venue. If you try you will likely get failures in both the old and new units. Just say no! You can check using the RF scan feature included in XD-V75 receivers.

You must either flash older models to the newer V2.0 firmware (and you must have access to a V75 receiver and do this via Monkey) or you can shift the newer models (or any that have been flashed with V2.0) into RF 1 mode.

If an XD-V75 unit is being added to a setup that already includes any devices running in RF1 mode, the XD-V75 can be used to update the older devices to run RF2 mode by using an internet-connected computer attached to the XD-V75’s USB port. See the Firmware Updating Procedure section for more information. Alternatively, the XD-V75 transmitters can be setup to operate in RF1 mode if it is necessary to use the transmitters with older Line 6 receivers.

Note: Relay G30 and G50 Receivers that have been updated to V2.0 firmware will *follow* the RF Mode that the corresponding G30 or G50 Transmitter is set to.

To Set The THH12 Or TBP12 Transmitters (Including Relay G50/90):

Enter Setup mode to display the current channel
Hold down the SELECT button until CHANNEL appears on the screen and continue holding SELECT. Then press and release the ON/MUTE button on the THH12 or VALUE button on the TBP12, then release the SELECT button. The display will briefly show [XD-V75 RF1] or [XD-V75 RF2] to indicate whether it is operating in the old or new mode, respectively. This setting is retained when powering off, so as a reminder the display will also show this indication [RF1 or RF2] each time power is turned on. The XD-V75 receiver will display a [To] on the far right of the display to indicate while communicating with a RF1 software transmitter. [Tx] indicates units operating in RF2 mode. They must ALL be the same.

The XD-V35 system ships set to the new dual frequency RF2 mode. To use an XD-V35 version transmitter with an earlier generation XD-V30 receiver (RF1 mode), you must change the transmitter from RF2 mode to RF1 mode. The method differs slightly between the handheld and beltpack.

Setting THH06 And TBP06 Transmitters (Including G30):

THH06 HandheldTransmitter

Turn the transmitter off.
Press and hold the channel SELECT button.
While holding the SELECT button, press and hold the power ON button.
The blue LED over channel 1 will flash three times to indicate that the transmitter is in the RF1 mode.
To revert to the RF2 mode, repeat the above steps; the blue LED over channel 2 will flash three times when the transmitter is in this mode.

TBP06 BeltpackTransmitter

With transmitter off, set the Channel Select slide switch to channel 6.
Turn on the transmitter.
Immediately slide the Channel Select switch completely left to channel 1.
Quickly slide the Channel Select switch completely right to channel 6.
Quickly slide the Channel Select switch completely left to channel 1.
This process must be completed within three seconds of turning on the transmitter.
The blue LED will flash once to indicate that the transmitter is now in the 4-frequency transmission mode. To revert to RF2 transmission mode, repeat the above steps; the blue LED will flash twice when the transmitter is in this mode.

Note: It is IMPORTANT to note that once you shift (in either direction) the transmitters will only remember the change if you power cycle the transmitter. Just turn it off with the power switch and then back on. If you were to pop a battery before doing this then it will revert back to the last "saved" mode.

Die neuen Line 6 Wireless Sender V75, 55 und 35 werden im RF2-Modus ausgeliefert, sie können aber auch in den RF1-Modus umgeschaltet werden. Der RF2-Modus kann nicht benutzt werden, wenn ältere Line 6 2.4G Wireless-Geräte (inklusive Relay) am gleichen Ort verwendet werden, weil das zu Störungen bei beiden Gerätetypen führen kann. Welcher Modus gerade eingeschaltet ist, können Sie herausfinden, indem Sie die eingebaute Frequenzen-Scan-Funktion Ihres XD-V75-Empfängers benutzen.

Um das Problem zu beheben, müssen sie entweder die neuere V2.0-Firmware auf ihre älteren Geräte aufspielen (dazu brauchen Sie Zugang zu einem V75-Empfänger und Monkey), oder sie schalten die neueren Modelle (beziehungsweise jedes Modell, auf dem die V2.0-Firmware läuft) in den RF1-Modus um.

Wenn ein XD-V75-Gerät zu einem Setup hinzugefügt wird, das schon Geräte enthält, die im RF1-Modus laufen, kann das XD-V75 benutzt werden, um die älteren Geräte zu aktualisieren. Die Einstellung wird beibehalten, wenn Sie das Gerät ausschalten. Zur Erinnerung zeigt das Display den jeweiligen Modus [RF1 oder RF2] beim Einschalten des Geräts kurz an. Der XD-V75-Receiver zeigt an der äußersten rechten Seite [To] an, wenn das Gerät mit einem RF1-Transmitter kommuniziert. [Tx] bedeutet, dass die Geräte im RF2-Modus arbeiten. Damit die verschiedenen Sender- Empfänger Generationen zusammen störungsfrei arbeiten müssen ALLE Geräte im gleichen Modus arbeiten.

Bedeutet das Vorhandensein eines Senders im RF1 modus.

Das XD-V35-System ist bei der Auslieferung auf den neuen Dual-Frequenz-Modus RF2 eingestellt. Um einen XD-V35-Sender mit einem XD-V30-Empfänger der früheren Generation (RF1-Modus) zu verwenden, müssen Sie den Sender von RF2 auf RF1 umschalten. Die Vorgehensweise ist etwas unterschiedlich, je nachdem, ob Sie das Mikrofon- oder das Beltpack-Gerät verwenden.

Einstellen des THH06 und TBP06 Transmitters (Inklusive G30):

THH06 Handheld-Transmitter

1. Schalten Sie den Transmitter aus.
2. Halten Sie den Kanal-Select-Knopf gedrückt.
3. Während Sie den Select-Knopf gedrückt halten, drücken Sie den Power/Ein-Knopf und halten Sie diesen ebenfalls gedrückt.
4. Die blaue LED über Kanal 1 leuchtet dreimal kurz auf, um anzuzeigen, dass der Transmitter jetzt im RF1-Modus ist.
5. Um in den RF2-Modus zurückzukehren, wiederholen Sie die oben genannten Schritte; die blaue LED über Kanal 2 leuchtet dreimal kurz auf, um anzuzeigen, dass der Transmitter im RF2-Modus ist.

TBP06 Beltpack-Transmitter

1. Bei ausgeschaltetem Transmitter den Schieberegler zur Kanalauswahl auf Kanal 6 stellen.
2. Transmitter einschalten.
3. Den Schieberegler sofort nach dem Einschalten auf Kanal 1 stellen, zurück auf 6 und wieder auf Kanal 1 schieben.
4. Dieser Prozess muss nach Anschalten des Senders innerhalb von drei Sekunden geschehen.
7. Die blaue LED blinkt einmal, um anzuzeigen, dass der Sender jetzt im 4-Frequenzen-Übertragungsmodus ist. Um in den RF2-Übertragungsmodus zurückzukehren, wiederholen Sie die oben genannten Schritte. Die blaue LED blinkt dann zweimal auf, wenn der Sender im RF2-Modus ist.

Wichtig: Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Gerät den soeben eingestellten Modus (egal in welche Richtung) nur beibehält, wenn Sie das Gerät nach dem Wechsel kurz aus- und wieder einschalten. Dadurch wird der aktuell eingestellte Modus gespeichert. Wenn sie vorher eine Batterie eingelegt haben, springt das Gerät zurück zum zuletzt gespeicherten Modus.

Line 6 sans fil RF1 et RF2: Changement de modes

Les modes de transmission RF2&RF1 Line6

Les nouveaux systèmes sans fil V75, 55 et 35 utilisent le nouveau mode de transmission RF2 par défaut, mais possèdent la possibilité de changer en mode RF1.

Il n’est pas possible d’utiliser des appareils qui utilisent le mode RF2 s’il y a des anciens appareils RF1(V70 our Relay) sur la même scène ou dans le même bâtiment

Si vous l’essayez, vous allez très probablement voir des erreurs de communication sur les anciens et nouveaux systèmes. Il suffit de ne pas les combiner ! Vous pouvez vérifier la présence d’émetteurs RF1 /FR2 en utilisant la fonction « CHANNEL SCAN » RF dans les récepteurs XD-V75.

Vous devez soit mettre a jour les anciens modèles vers la version 2.0 ou vous pouvez changer les modèles déjà équipés de la version 2.0 en RF mode 1.
Pour mettre à jour un ancien modèle, vous avez besoin d’un récepteur XDV75, un ordinateur et le logiciel Monkey.

Si une XD-V75 est ajouté à une installation qui comprend déjà des appareils fonctionnant en mode RF1, le XD-V75 peut être utilisé pour mettre à jour les appareils plus anciens vers RF2 mode.

Pour mettre à jour les modèles précédents, vous devrez avoir accès à l'Internet et une connexion USB entre le XD-V75 à l'ordinateur

Remarque : Les récepteurs Relay G30 et G50 qui ont été mis à jour avec le firmware V2.0 suivent automatiquement le mode RF de l’émetteur correspondant.

Pour changer le mode RF des émetteurs THH12TBP12et G50/90:

1. Entrez en mode de configuration pour afficher le canal actuel
2. Maintenez le bouton SELECT et pressez et relâchez le bouton ON / MUTE ou la touche VALUE sur le TBP12. L'écran indiqué brièvement [XD-V75 RF1] ou [XD-V75 RF2] pour vous indiquer le mode actif. Également quand vous mettez l’émetteur en marche.

Ce réglage est conservé lorsque vous éteignez l’émetteur. Le mode actif [RF1 ou RF2] s’indique chaque fois que l'appareil est allumé. Le récepteur XD-V75 affichera une Icône ( To) à la droite de l'écran pour indiquer le mode RF2, ( Tx) s’indique que l récepteur est en communication avec un émetteur dans mode RF1. Ils doivent tous être les mêmes.

Le système XD-V35 est déjà réglé à la nouvelle fréquence RF2.

Pour utiliser un émetteur XD-V35 avec un récepteurXD-V30 d’ancienne génération RF1 vous devez changer l'émetteur de RF2 mode RF1. La méthode diffère légèrement entre le modèle micro THH06 et le modèle ceinture TBP06 (et G30).

Pour changer le mode RF des émetteurs THH06TBP06et G30:

THH06 émetteur micro :

1/ éteignez l'émetteur.
2/ appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton SELECT canal.
3/ tout en maintenant la touche SELECT, appuyez et maintenez le bouton d'alimentation.
4/ Le LED bleu sur le canal 1 clignote trois fois pour indiquer que l'émetteur est en mode RF1.
5/ pour revenir en mode RF2, répétez les étapes ci-dessus, le LED bleu sur le canal 2 clignote trois fois lorsque l'émetteur est dans ce mode.

TBP06émetteur ceinture :

1/ éteignez l'émetteur.

2/ mettez le sélecteur de canal sur 6.
3/ allumez l'émetteur et changez immédiatement le canal vers 1, vers 6 et vers 1.

4/ ce processus doit être achevé dans les trois secondes après la mise sous tension de l'émetteur.
5/ le LED bleu clignote une fois pour indiquer que l'émetteur est maintenant dans le mode de transmission RF1. Pour revenir en mode RF2, répétez les étapes ci-dessus le LED bleu clignote deux fois lorsque l'émetteur est dans ce mode.

Remarque: Pour sauvegarder le changement de mode RF dans l’émetteur, il vous suffit de l’éteindre et de le rallumer avec avec le commutateur ON/OFF.

Si vous enlevez les piles, l’émetteur se met dans le dernier mode RF saufgardé.

問題を解決するには、従来のモデルを新しいV2.0ファームウェアに書き換えるか (Monkeyを使って書き換えを行うにはXD-V75レシーバーを使う必要があります)、新しいモデル (あるいはV2.0へアップデートされたモデル) をRF1モードにシフトします。
RF1モードのディバイスを含むセットアップへXD-V75ユニットを追加した場合、そのXD-V75を使って以前のディバイスをアップデートできます。その際はXD-V75のUSBポートへ、インターネット接続したコンピューターを接続して行います。ファームウェア・アップデートの方法は、XD-V75の製品ページのリソースタブに用意されているPDFファイルをご覧ください。なお、XD-V75のトランスミッターを以前のLine 6レシーバーで使用する必要がある場合は、そのトランスミッターをRF1に設定することもできます。
注意: V2.0ファームウェアにアップデートされたRelay G30やG50のレシーバーは、対応するG30やG50のトランスミッターで設定されたRFモードに従います。
THH12、TBP12トランスミッターの設定方法 (Relay G50/90を含む):

Setupモードに入って現在のチャンネルを表示します。

SELECTボタンを押しながら、THH12のON/MUTEボタン、もしくはTBP12のVALUEボタンを一度押して、離します。新旧どちらのモードで動作しているかがディスプレイ上に [XD-V75 RF1] または [XD-V75 RF2] の形で表示されます。同じことを繰り返すと別のモードに切り替わります。この設定は電源オフ時にも維持され、電源投入時に [RF1] または [RF2] と表示されます。XD-V75レシーバーでチャンネル・スキャンを行うと、RF1ソフトウェアのトランスミッターとコミュニケーションしている際にはディスプレイ内のチャンネル番号の上に [To] が表示されます。RF2モードで動作しているユニットの場合は [Tx] が表示されます。複数のユニットを使用している場合は、どちらか一方に全ユニットを統一する必要があります。

XD-V35システムは新しい2周波数 (デュアルフリケンシー) 方式のRF2モードに設定された状態で出荷されています。XD-V35のトランスミッターを前世代のXD-V30レシーバー (RF1モード) で使用する場合には、トランスミッターをRF2モードからRF1モードへ切り替える必要があります。その方法はハンドヘルドとベルトパックで少し異なっています。

THH06、TBP06トランスミッターの設定方法 (G30を含む):
THH06ハンドヘルド・トランスミッター

トランスミッターの電源を切ります。
チャンネルのSELECTボタンを押したままにします。
そのままの状態で、電源のONボタンを押し続けます。
チャンネル1の上にある青いLEDが3回点滅して、トランスミッターがRF1モードになったことを示します。
RF2モードに戻すには、同じプロセスを繰り返します。モードが変わると、チャンネル2の上にある青いLEDが3回点滅します。

TBP06ベルトパック・トランスミッター

トランスミッターがオフの状態で、Channel Selectスライド・スイッチをチャンネル6に設定します。
トランスミッターの電源を入れます。
Channel Selectスイッチを左端のチャンネル1まで素早くスライドします。
Channel Selectスイッチを右端のチャンネル6まで素早くスライドします。
以上のプロセスを、電源投入後3秒以内に終わらせる必要があります。
青いLEDが1回点滅して、トランスミッターがRF1 (4周波数伝送モード) であることを示します。RF2伝送モードへ戻すには、同じステップを繰り返します。青いLEDが2回点滅します。

注意: トランスミッターのモードを変更した場合、その変更は電源を入れ直すことで記憶されます。一度電源スイッチを切ってから、再度オンにしてください。この作業を行う前に電池を抜いてしまうと、以前のモードに戻ってしまいます。

After selecting your song, the app will return to back to the normal amp screen at which point you can play, fast forward, rewind, and loop the track.

Q: What should I do if my Apple® device is not recognizing the Mobile In adaptor when it is plugged in?

A: Check your iPhone or iPad to be sure the latest version of the iOS operating system is installed update if necessary, instructions to do so can be found here. Disconnect the Mobile In adaptor and reconnect it, making sure the Mobile In adaptor is firmly connected to your iPhone or iPad’s device’s 30 pin dock connector. Additional transmitter won't work

Hello, I have a Relay 50 that works fine by itself. I recently bought an extra transmitter for it. I'm not an idiot, I put in new batteries, tried all of the channels with Hi and Lo power settings. I have really exhausted all of the options in the book. The transmitter has power, Red indicator, when I make noise on the guitar the Green indicator tells me that the transmitter is getting the signal but the Receiver on the pedal board is getting nothing. I don't know if the unit is faulty? I bought it new... There is a difference in the units during startup. The new unit says "rf 2" in the screen during power up, the original unit does not. The manual does make mention of there being 2 "rf" channels but I'll be danmed if I can figure how to change between the two. I need help! I am a working musician and down time is not good.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This version of the StageScape firmware works only with StageScape remote app v1.10. Please update your StageScape remote app on your iPad when updating your StageScape firmware.

When updating firmware, have ONLY the SD card or USB drive that is being used to install the update plugged into the StageScape.

This update is available from this web address http://line6.com/software/index.html Be sure to select StageScape M20d under All Products, click the red Go button, and you will be able to download the Firmware 1.10 update. You will have to download this file and save it to a SD card or USB thumb drive. Insert that device into your StageScape M20d, go to the i menu, Show System Settings, Update M20d, Update System Firmware.

The update file will have to be in the top hierarchy of your media device. Firmware install files will not be recognized if they are placed in a folder. Be sure to unplug any other media device (USB, SD card or PC) from your StageScape that is not being used for the firmware update.

Q: How do I perform a Factory Reset ("reflash") on my Variax 300/500/600/700/705?

Q: The strings on my Variax Steel string are breaking consistently at the saddle piece. How can this be resolved?

A: There may be a "burr in the saddle", meaning that there is an edge cutting into the string and causing it to break. Depending on where the string is breaking you may need to replace the piezo, the saddle piece, or both pieces. Please contact an authorized Service Center for more information.

Q: I am getting a high-pitched “squeal” when I have both the ¼” TRS cable and the Variax cable plugged into my PODxt/X3 or Vetta. How do I eliminate this?

A: The high-pitched squeal is indicative of an overload of the power input buffers, as the unit is receiving power from both the TRS and the Variax Digital Cable. You will need to unplug one of the cables to remove the high-pitch noise.

Q: What happens if I leave my Variax plugged into an amp while using batteries (not using the power supply)?

A: If you leave your Variax plugged into your amp and are not using the power supply you will drain your batteries. If you remember to turn the volume knob on your Variax all the way down, the guitar will go into a low power 'standby' mode, but the batteries will still be draining (although at a substantially slower rate). Remember to unplug your Variax if you have finished a soundcheck and are heading off to dinner somewhere before your gig.

Q: I have a dead string on my 300/500/600/700 (electric or acoustic) guitar - where can I get a replacement piezo?

Q: When I first plug it in the sound goes on and off like the power is being turned off and on and I hear a constant click...click...click...through the amp?

A: The problem sounds like it's a battery issue. If the battery's power drops below a current point, even though the batteries may seem good, the guitar will cut in and out. Even if you connect the power A/B box the guitar will still cut in and out. When this occurs, you must disconnect or change the batteries.

Q: Where can I get a replacement neck and/or body for my Variax guitar?

A: You can order your Variax replacement neck or body from Warmoth Instruments.

Q: Can the Model Select knob on the Variax 300/600 be calibrated?

A: No, the Model Select knob on the Variax 300/600 cannot be calibrated. If the model knob is "out of sync", try reflashing your instrument. If you are still having problems with the model select knob not selecting the correct model, you will need to have the unit serviced at your local Line 6 service center.

Q: How do I calibrate the Model Select knob on the Variax 500/700?

A: Here are the instructions on how to calibrate the Model Select knob on the Variax 500/700:

*Please make sure that the output from the Variax 500/700 is plugged into an amplifier or monitoring source to hear the audio beeps from the guitar.

1. Unplug RJ45 cable from guitar.

2. Turn off Power (disconnect ¼" TRS cable from guitar).

3. Turn the volume up.

4. Pull model selector knob "up" and away from the guitar body and set it to position Custom 1.

5. Set pickup selector to 4th (neck-middle) position.

6. Set tone knob to middle position.

7. Turn on power (connect ¼" TRS cable to guitar).

ONCE INITIALIZED, YOU WILL HAVE APPROX. 13 SECONDS TO COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE:

8. Turn tone control to min and then max.

9. You will now hear a beep sequence come from the amp or monitor source the Variax is plugged into. (The beeps will NOT come from inside the guitar itself.)

10. Turn model selector from "Custom 1" through all positions up to "Custom 2" this should be timed to approximately 1 second per physical step. (Counting: "one, one thousand", making sure to turn the pot on the one).

11. You will hear a low-high-low beep when completed.

12. Model selector will now be calibrated.

13. Press the Model Select knob back in to the guitar body to the "down" position.

If you hear the low-high-low beep prior to completing the entire rotation of the model select knob, unplug the ¼" TRS cable from guitar and start over again until the timing is correct.

Q: How do I calibrate the strings on a Variax Bass 700/705?

A: To Activate String Calibration Mode:

1.Press down and hold the VOLUME knob, then power up the bass as follows:
a.plug in a TRS cable connected to a powered XPS power supply, or
b.plug in a VDI cable which is connected to a powered Bass PODxt Live.
2.The LED on the bass will appear to be orange or red (not green - if the LED is green, try again). Release the VOLUME knob after confirming that the light turned on orange/red.***

*** Note: If the light does not light up orange/red, make sure that you are able to press down on the Volume knob like a button. If it does not feel like a button, or if the knob does not travel down enough because it is to close to the pickguard, you should try removing the knob and pressing down on the Volume stem.

In String Calibration Mode, all modeling is bypassed and the level of each string can be adjusted individually. To confirm you're in String Calibration Mode, listen to several Models, including a Synth Model; they should all sound the same: direct piezo.

Important Note: As per the instructions below, the BLEND knob is used to adjust the volume of each string. The BLEND knob has a center detent, and that detent equals the Factory level volume for each selected string. You should adjust string levels from the center detent as a reference. Boosting levels too much may result in distortion, which is not good. For best results, listen to all strings and determine which ones may be too loud or too soft, then adjust accordingly, leaving the other strings at their detent levels.

To Calibrate Individual Strings: (steps 5a & 5b for 5-string only)

*After successfully powering up in String Calibration Mode, monitor the Variax Bass in the usual way, with the Volume knob at max, plugged into a bass amp, PODxt Live, etc.

1a.Rotate MODEL SELECT knob to the 1st Model, VinJ, to select the 1st string (G).
1b.Turn BLEND knob up or down to balance the G string level with the other strings.

2a.Rotate MODEL SELECT knob to the 2nd Model, ModJ, to select the 2nd string (D).
2b.Turn BLEND knob up or down to balance the D string level with the other strings.

3a.Rotate MODEL SELECT knob to the 3rd Model, PreBass, to select the 3rd string (A).
3b.Turn BLEND knob up or down to balance the A string level with the other strings.

4a.Rotate MODEL SELECT knob to the 4th Model, Manta, to select the 4th string (E).
4b.Turn BLEND knob up or down to balance the E string level with the other strings.

5a.Rotate MODEL SELECT knob to the 5th Model, Clang, to select the 5th string (B).
5b.Turn BLEND knob up or down to balance the B string level with the other strings.

When all strings sound in balance, press down on the MODEL SELECT knob to exit String Calibration Mode. The LED will turn green and your level changes will be saved.

* Rotate the MODEL SELECT knob to load a Model and return to normal operation
