Overall reverb control

Hi guy's,

Could someone let me know. I do shows etc and during songs and between them Myself and my team sometimes chat to each other or to the crowd. Is there a way to pull the reverb out over-all as in a master slider type thing.

Just a quick question here.

Haven't had to do this before and got stuck with it the other night when I had to try to use a D.I. box for a guys guitar so i could run my desk away on the snake and didn't have the faintest idea of whether the desk has Phantom power for such scenarios... guessing it does. Where ?

I got a GATOR case ... added a little bit of foam to the inside and it is just brilliant. Hard case with shoulder strap and zip pocket on the side for any leads.

Recording levels still have me bafled

Hi guys,

I know I have seen this in discussions somewhere before here but can,t find it again so forgive me if this has been talked about already.

I have been doing some recordings on the M20. It's all easy to use and everything but I just having huge problems getting the levels up to a reasonable level.

Whenever I have gone into the files the vocals are barely audible compared to the line. The main mix is the same... very low levels. I am finding I have to go into my Goldwave or whatever I am using and really boost the Db up on everything to make it listenable. Is anyone else having these problems or has had them and fixed them.

I have all the levels up on the desk when doing the recorings and the SD card media level is up as well but it just doesnt really make much difference. I am guessing I am doing something wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Turning your M20 recordings into one track cd recordings

Hi guys, this is going to prob seem a pretty lame query but I am new to all this stuff so I'll ask anyway. I have recently purchased the M20, great desk love it.

I recorded a couple of tracks onto SD card and played them back and they are all sweet. Loaded them onto my P.C. and now need to ask how do I actually transfer and combine the solo tracks on to CD.

Is this something I need to do with a programme such as wavelab etc. Can I then also mix it down and fine tune it a little more in the process.

As I said this is prob really basic and I do apologise but any help would be greatly appreciated as the only tutorial video I can find is about the stuff I already taught myself about recording down onto the SDcard.

These desks are very new here in New Zealand and at the moment I am one of only five in the country so support and knowledge base here is pretty slim.

Just curious here... I like the sound of this. I play sets of about 6 songs each for a lot of my corporate functions etc so doing this is not really a huge task. Fifteen songs in an evening. I have a couple of different singers that come with me on certain gigs so I could set them up on there own scenes as it were. If I load the songs into the desk as I have seen done and save them into their scenes do I need the footswitch or does the desk just play from one song to the next in the order set to it and also change the mic parameters for different songs. Still new to the desk and it just seems to have so many options available. I am still having to move back and forth to the desk to up a level here or tweak a mic there. So being able to set these levels and forget almost without having the foot controller would be pretty cool.

Hi guy's

I recently purchased the SS and love it.. I do a lot of my set-ups alone etc and it has saved me a huge amount of time and the ease of use is just great. I do however have a prob with getting the ipad app to work. I live in New Zealand and have tried a couple of USB recievers to connect to my ipad and it just won't recognise them. Does anyone know if there is a fairly universal usb reciever I can get my hands on over here or is this something I am going to have to get from elsewhere. Doing set-ups alone I really wanted to have this as one of the functions as it would just make pre mixing so much better for me especially with the 20 sec recording available. I know that I am only one of six here in New Zealand that has one of the SS's that were brought into the country and just hoping maybe one of the others is on here looking through the forums.
