Also see new driver for POD HD 300 on Line 6 Monkey and I do the update and follow instructions through to unplugging USB to then reconnecting USB, and then from that point onwards Monkey says (Not connected). I have restarted PC, checked firmly USB connection - but still says Not Connected. So what's up. And of course POD HD Edit does not dialup any presets from the floorboard.

PC is not seeing the POD although it is definately connected via USB..

HELP!!!

All going good for some weeks now - then switch on today and mode switch and all lights not on? Tried the PC restart - no joy.

2.Sometimes when I get the HD Edit going (which is brilliant!) , it doesn't load the presets on the device. Usually says "loading presets..." and then loads them. I have needed to shut down PC and restart and that helps.

What's up here?

Used to be good at around 2nd 4th point - now it needs around 5 to 7 for volume to be good. I'm not going deaf and headphones aren't slowly packing up BECAUSE plugging same headphone into other devices and everything loud and clear. Must be the UX2? Is it packing up? Output volume through monitors if fine - just the headphone has this going quieter problem.

Hi

I had thought I had responded? Must have gone to cyberspace.Happy new year!

Here is my simple rig.

I plug the ol geet into TonePort UX2, (NORM) input and then through USB to PC. Then using POD Farm or whatever - record using Ableton Live. Works fine - but sound quality no where near POD 2 on headphones. When I plug POD 2 into TonePort (NORM input), and fire up Ableton to record - yup, works OK, but again, no where near sound quality, clarity as just listening to POD though its headphone out. Maybe that through TonePort and the USB, quality drops off. But same thing when you plug POD 2 into an amp. Not the same (granted the amp, even with all its knobs on neutral etc will do the best it can with its speakers etc) - but still, much clarity is lost. Had this from day one - which must have been about 6 years ago.

I am now lining up for HD 300. I am hoping that working through the TonePort will give a better recording signal (and sound quality through an amp) than POD 2. A question on this - could HD 300 replace TonePort in my set up? ie, plug guitar through HD 300 and record into Ableton - and leave Toneport out of the process (and POD 2 becomes an ebay candidate)?
