Hey. Thanks for the answer.

I know that the setup is stored but the first time this problem occured and I raised the monitor outputs, it was definitely not the sound like before the shutdown.

Maybe I did something wrong or reloaded a wrong preset. Who knows?! :-)

So I wait for the update.

well...

we just played 2 gigs where i couldn't use the m20d. we had to do the soundcheck in the morning and played 12 hours later.

i didn't want the m20d to run the whole time. but if i turned it off, we had to re-adjust the monitors in front of the audience. that's pretty unprofessional!

so i used our older mixer for these jobs. i'm a little disappointed that i can't use the m20d in those situations. i hope this issue will be

solved very soon. otherwise i have to sell my m20d because i can't use it the way i want!

don't get me wrong. i know what the problem is but i think a mixer for 2300€ should handle this!!

but i play in a rockabilly band and as long as i'm adjusting the monitors the other guys tell jokes, comb their hair or drop their pants.

so the audience never gets bored! hahahaha!

but thanks for the answer. i would be very happy if you could change this issue in the future!

hi there.

i just had a little problem with my m20d today.

after the soundcheck i saved the setup to my m20d. after two hours of playing there was a guitarplayer who came up to the stage as we took a little break to sing and play a little.

so i changed a few settings for him but didnt save them.

as we were back on stage i loaded up the scene i saved when we finished the soundcheck. but the monitor levels were completely down so we had to rearrange the monitoring

while the crowd stared at us. :-D

after the gig, i saved the settings (with the reaarenged monitor settings!!) and loaded up an older setting. worked fine so far. but when i got back to the new setup the monitor levels

where, again, down.

what did i do wrong?! anybody had the same issue?

hmmm... my m-audio interface has 8 outputs. if i recorded something with that m-audio card to my daw, maybe i could route the single tracks back to the outputs of the m-audio (1-8), connect them to the m20d and record them to the m20d's sd card. with killing all the effects and settings in the daw, the dry signals will now get to the m20d. sounds a bit complicated but... GOT IT?! :-D :-D :-D

no, they didn't move.

but i read somewhere that the m20d auto-corrects the volume while the gig runs.

so, when we play more harder to the end of the gig the m20d does some corrections

so the tone won't crack.

we use those old-school "elvis-like" mics from sure. they are very sensitive for higher frequency-feedbacks.

maybe it's a mix of it all...

no one changed anything. it works perfectly so far.

and i had no feedback-issues with lower frequencies.

it's just a short-time-issue. it vanishes after a few minutes. :-)

hey.

we used the m20d for 4 gigs now. everything works fine so far but there is one little problem:

after 2 hours of playing we get feedback on the main vocals. it sounds like the m20d raises the

upper frequencies of the vocals. it stops as the fbs jumps in. so it is not a big issue but i noticed that 4 times now.

when i lower the upper frequencies manually the feedbacks are gone.

maybe someone noticed that issue, too.

last gig we used the ipad as a remote. wow. works great. plug and play!

a friend of mine works as a sound-engineer. he was not amused, as he realised that this machine does a great job. hahaha...

we also had our first gig with the m20d on friday night. it was a "polterabend" :-)

it was the fastest soundcheck and the best sound we ever had. wow.

Ì'm playing in a rockabilly-band, so we have an acoustic double-bass which always caused trouble (feedbacks!!!)

with the m20d everything worked fine for us. i love this device!!!!

the best thing is that I never need do mind those eq-issues again!
