Should have mentioned that.

The unit was practically brand new though.

My nearest line6 repair place is really far away also.

What are my options?

POD X3Live Problem :(

Hello!

I've been a proud owner of an x3live for about a month or two now, and was recording very happily via USB.

All of a sudden, one day my laptop stopped recognising any input from the POD X3Live via USB. Sound wouldn't come out from my laptop into the pod x3l via usb live also(like it used to).

So now i was left with my podx3L being recognised as a soundcard, but no sound could be recognised as input, and the podx3l wouldn't output anything from my laptop via usb either.

It could be a driver problem i thought. I uninstalled and re-installed the drivers. I also tried re-flashing the pod x3l(the reflashing process kept coming up with an error).

Then i completely wiped my laptop and re-installed a fresh copy of OSX..

And I'm now i'm here! There's still no sound input (or output) detected via usb, but the device itself is recognised fine.

note: the pod x3 live is basically completely fine apart from the USB audio problem mentioned and I can't upgrade the firmware as it keeps coming upt with errors.

Other than that it is still good for practice...

Does anyone know of any solutions? or is my pod x3 live already faulty after 1-2 months ?

Specifics:

OS: OSX 10.6.6 - snow leopard

Driver: 5.1.2(latest drivers)

Monkey: latest!

Thanks in advance!

-Will
