I think i understand.... As an example, this is how it will work right?

For setlist 1:

CC # 0 (MSB)

CC # 1 (LSB)

PC # 0 ( for 1A)

For setlist 2:

CC # 0 (MSB)

CC # 2 (LSB)

PC # 1 ( for 1B)

For setlist 3:

CC # 0 (MSB)

CC # 3 (LSB)

PC # 2 ( for 1C)

For setlist 4:

CC # 0 (MSB)

CC # 4 (LSB)

PC # 3 ( for 1D)

Etc.. Etc..

Sorry to hear you cannot make it work with your Ground Control Pro... I'm not sure I fully understand why that is, but sure hope they can fix it in the next firware.. I cannot imagine they wouldn't as there are a lot of people out there who uses the Ground Control Pro...

I wonder if that's only with the Ground Control... I'm planning to use my HD Pro with the Liquid Foot Pro... I haven't been able to test it out yet as I'm waiting for the new version to come out...

Reading the appendix C page C-3, I understand how to call up presets, but I'm a bit confused on how to call up setlists.

What I understand about this paragraph is:

Load Set List: from your MIDI controller device, send a Bank Change CC0 (Bank MSB), CC32 (LSB) message with a value of 0 (for Setlist 1), 1 (for Setlist 2), etc., followed by a Program Change message (Value 0-63 for Preset 01A - 16D) for the desired Preset within the Set List. The Set List and Preset are loaded on POD HD Pro.

When calling up a setlist, one should use CC:

setlist 1 - CC# 0

setlist 2 - CC# 1

setlist 3 - CC# 2

etc..

but wouldn't that be a conflict with the assigned CC # 1 and 2 used for the expression pedals 1 and 2 showned on page C-2 under the Midi Control Reference table?

Is it a different kind of CC from the one used on assigning the expression pedal?

I think it would be helpful to have a Midi Control Reference Table for the Bank and Program Changes as well just like the one from the pod xt pro manual:

I wonder if ti would give some sort of conflict with the CC messeges from assigned to the epxression pedals... on page C-2 there is a Midi CC# table showing numbers 1 and 2 being used for the exp pedal 1 and 2.. wouldn't that conflict with setlist 1 and 2?

I'm so confused now....

ahhh... now you got me thinking jimsreynolds..... so it is not a CC command, but a CC Bank as Borehead mentioned?

The patch change, I get it... but the bank change (setlist) i'm not so sure I follow... up until now, I thought one would just give a CC value from 0-7 but now you say we also need a cc type? so will it always be 00 ?

what confuses me is the mentioning of the CC0(Bank MSB),CC32 (LSB)... what are those? I will check on the link you posted on your post...

So, based on the section on page C-3, it would work as follows?

to change setlist:

CC change between 0-7 (setlist 1=0 and setlist 8=7)

to change presets:

PC change between 0-63 ( 1A=0 and 16D=63)

This is what I get from that section, but if I'm wrong, please chime in... :-)

Yes, I have read that... and That's exactly what I have posted on my previous post... what does Bank MSB mean? CC32 (LSB)? how would that apply practically? I guess what is throwing me off is the fact that they have added multiple setlists... I wish they could create a reference table just like the one from Pod XT Pro (the one I posted earlier)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the table on appendix C page c-2 is for the expression pedals, 8 FX, and looper. It does not show how to callup the presets (program changes)

I found this in the appendix C of the Advanced Users Guide, but it's not clear to me... It looks like one would need to call up both the setlist and the preset at the same time? not so sure how to go about doing that....

Bank & Program Change Messages

POD HD Pro will respond to incoming MIDI Bank & Program Change messages as follows.

Load Set List: from your MIDI controller device, send a Bank Change CC0 (Bank MSB), CC32 (LSB) message with a value of 0 (for Setlist 1), 1 (for Setlist 2), etc., followed by a Program Change message (Value 0-63 for Preset 01A - 16D) for the desired Preset within the Set List. The Set List and Preset are loaded on POD HD Pro.

Load a Preset within the current Set List: Send a Program Change message (Value 0-63 for Preset 01A - 16D) for the desired Preset within the current Set List.

I wonder if they could come up with a table just like this one from Pod XT Pro's Manual.. Can anyone post an example just like appendix B from the Pod XT Pro?
