Whether for replacement or a serious whack by their technicians I don't know yet.

What to do with a stuck FBV Express?

Hi!

I'm in trouble! I have used my new FBV Express with my equally new Spider Jam once. Worked perfectly, wah-wah included. But when I plugged the FBV in today it didn't do anything. Tried to recalibrate (as described elsewhere in this community) a couple of times, which got me nowhere. After maybe the second calibration attempt the red leds for A, B, C, & D followed my turning the big preset knob on the amp but apart from that the FBV's switches didn't work. After removing and recabling the RJ45 to the FBV the A-B-C-D leds stopped following the amp. The FBV's tuner works when I press the button on the amp but not when I press A+B. All the time the FBV's "Vol" indicator has been lit and the small TAP indicator in the FBV's display is repeating the rhythm of the TAB lamp on the amp. Should mention that I tried with 3 different RJ45 cables and also tried to switch the amp off a couble of times with the FBV connected. What to do, please?

If you are fine with 2 banks I guess that could go for me as well.

Thanks a lot!

Then suppose that you then have 15 different selfmade presets. What would then be the smartest way to switch between them using an FBV Express?

How to avoid preset sounds fighting with manual settings on Spider Jam?

Hi 6-Liners!

If I turn the "Amp Models" button the amp will choose preset sounds with every little turn. Even if the "Chan Vol" button is set very low (or even at minimum) the actual volume might be quite loud, depending on the preset. If I then turn the "Chan Vol" button only slightly it will take over the volume control and the guitar volume might drop as a stone. Quite irritating if you are in the middle of something! I want to have the "Amp Models" working as a manual tone control so it only changes the sound and not the volume. I have set "Fx Auto Select" to "Off" but it doesn't change a thing. Have I missed a point somewhere or is the amp playing games with me? Thanks for your help!
