Solved. Performed a factory reset. Should have known!

Procedure: Power on the unit while holding the Settings/Tone button down for 5-8 seconds

Suddenly my looper will not play back drum or recordings thru my amp, but my guitar and aux inputs still play out through the same "out to amp" output. Very puzzling. Fortunately my amp has mini jack input, so I can play drum effects through the headphone jack output, but not thru the "out to amp" jack. I am considering reflashing the firmware, any advice?

I wound up flashing the firmware, which seemed to do the trick.

Undo deletes everything

OK, another question! I have a bass and a 6 string which I am using to lay down tracks. For the bass I use the Aux input, and for the 6 string track, I switch to the Guitar input. If I then decide to Undo, my choices are Undo All, Undo Guitar, and Undo Aux. Logic tells me that those are linked to the inputs, aren't they? However, if I Undo guitar, I lose both the bass and the 6 string inputs... that seems strange doesn't it?

Clarification appreciated!

PS. I notice there is no control for setting the input levels for the guitar input, what is the default? I am guessing zero?

Screech at start of loop

I have a new Spiderjam unit with a weird problem... if I pick a drum beat and lay down a track on top of it, all is good. If I then lay down a second track on that loop, when played back there is a momentary weird screech at the beginning of the loop; after that the loop sounds fine.

I thought maybe a firmware upgrade, but I checked and the firmware is current (DSP 2.09 / MCU 1.05)
