Spider valve mkII edit offline

Hi i have a problem when i try to work offline with SV mkII editor on my pc .some effects avaible on my hd100 with firmware 2.0 aren't avaible on the editor...only offline !when Connect the head to' the program it works.. But offline i can't open a preset or a bundle that contains a preset created with the new firmware.i tried to' reinstall the program but doesn't work.it is normal?any suggestion?

i think the answer is: "the amp is as it is, whe can't fix the channel switch delay". For me SV II is a good sounding amp but behringer v-amp (a cheap POD) don't have this problem...sorry line 6...but at the moment SV is not a good working amp..just a practice amp.

i reinstalled the new firmware 2.00....i think it's the best thing to do with your amp..amp sound really good, but...yes you have to spend time to modify all of your setting and sound....once you do it you're very happy.

i hope in the future line 6 resolve channel switch delay as soon as possible (...coping behringer or axe fx units...?!). Bye!

hi !!!!!! rock and roll to everyone!!!!!!!!!!now i tried and tried 2.00 for the 2^ time! and rock and roll the 2.00 firmware really rock!thanks line 6!!!!!now i'have the best sounding amp on the planet! good work line 6!!!!!!thanks

i suggest to resolve the channel switch delay...very busy...i own a behringher v-amp 2 ( a copy of a line 6' POD), but using the same amp model, with different setting, effects, reverb and so on, you can't hear any switch delay...no comment.... maybe line 6 need to copy behringher??????

so for the next update i need 1.no channel switch delay and please 2.same sound of firmware 1.17.........thanks

i reinstalled fiemware 1.17 .....now i'm happy.....i only hope in the future line 6 resolve the channel switch delay

i desagree with yours opinion on firmware 2.00..simply sound thin. high gain setting, in particular were fantastic in 1.17, but after update...bleah!!!!!also trying to adjust the eq setting...sound thin!!!!!!!and no warmer at all!!!

jws1982...can i downgrade to 1.17 firmware without using internet?is it correct?i'll hope 'cause i don't have a internet connection in my practice room....

about the models..i use hd100 with a marshall 4x12...1.17 had more bottom end and sounded hotter...but it's my opinion...the first time i used my hd 100 with the new firmware, my keyboard player asked me to lowering, lowering, lowering.....the highs!!!!!!!!....all my band was in agreement with him.!!!!!!!

in my opinion the firmware 1.17 sound better than 2.00 especially with high gain setting:)

Yes!!!!

i upgraded my spider valve hd100 to firmware 2.00........now the fantastic high gain sound has disappeared...

2 suggestion for line 6:

- resolve the channel switching delay

- recreate sound of the original firmware version 1.17.
