MGDM74, hold down the view button to go to the systems IO and scroll through and youll find an option for that

rotary speaker sim, chorus should work. Now pertaining to what he said about speeding up the rotary sim, if you go into your hd edit you can set it up to where the tap tempo controls the speed, though not the expression

I just thought about that, no, only thing i can think is you wire through the whole effects loop, thatd work. but the only way to do that on an mp3 would be using an ABY box. MP3 into Y and A going into the pwr or pre and B going into the opposite of A. Its not something I'd do just because to me its a waste of time but if anthing, that will do it.

Then How am I supposed to hear the track and also hear my pod if its going through different units(using headphones, not just the pod but the backing track.) How do I "Aggregate the sound. Also the first issues my main problem which is something thats probably so basic I just haven't figured out.

Ok so I've had a HD for a while, great unit, but I just got a brand new Imac and wanted to go direct recording via USB. I've installed L6 Monkey, and HD500 Edit. The computer and garage band both recognize the unit in inputs. 2 problems though: First of all when I select the HD and then play, the meters in garage band or the input section don't move at all. Volume is up, Direct mode turned on, and line out also. Second, (after I fix the first) how do I make the sound come out through the computers speakers?

I've had the exact same problem. Now mine just all of a sudden started working again one day so I didnt have to do anything. To start with let the amp stay unplugged for 24 hrs and check both fuses. If they're good check the tubes by turning on the amp and see how illuminated they are. Possibly then check the tubes by pulling them out. You can then get new tubes or sit it down for 2 weeks and then come back to it and then it works fine and if it doesnt possibly get tubes or take it to a tech. How long have you had the amp and when was it re-tubed and biased.

Possibly a bad transformer, bad connection to the sspeaker, or its just wearing out on you. Solid state amps can last a long time or not long at all, just unpredictable. More of a throw away amp when it stops working.
