Get four 4x12s and you're set. If that's too authentic and unrealistic then the sysex and the

tone settings from the above website should get you the tone with some compromises

in a smaller package.

I missed the part that the poster specifically needs this on an M9, not an M13.
Not sure if my M13 sysex files can be loaded on the M9... But in case it works then well and good - there's your Gilmour settings...

So that's the tone that you need, Gilmour that is. He actually uses fuzz on loud volume but the fuzziness is rolled off with not much treble and his echo smoothens the tone out (echo platter) then you have his rack settings too that's why you get a nice and smooth, sound that gets supported with so much amp power.

If I understood what you meant with glassy as that high pitch crystalline sound ... i get that with a fuzz factory with compression set to 11 o'clock. Thing is that same setting becomes automatically fuzzed when you roll the volume knob as the sound is naturally clipped.

I suppose you can try experimenting with routing the Studio EQ first, filtering midtones and select the correct frequency you want to boost then route another Studio EQ after it... this time specific filtering lower frequencies (or use the Parametric EQ after the first Studio EQ) and then compressor after that as the third effect. Just theorizing chief, not sure yet but that might work.

Thing is, your tone will naturally have an 'overdrive' when you increase the volume on the amp... so getting an unclipped tone is very very hard methinks.

If you'll insist on a softbag, just make sure you have a board+foam protection lining the inside of the bag. The padding should be enough to protect it. Make sure that side protects the knob part and you should be good to go. I use a flightcase for the analog board & a targus backpack for the m13. Might work for you, too.
