Fwiw, last weekend I downloaded Line 6 Edit and have been having a blast loading patches onto my xtLive. I can't say for sure if it's still 'officially supported', but I just went to the Line 6 software page http://line6.com/software/ and selected the xtLive and Edit. My PC is pretty basic - just a regular old WnXP machine, and I'd already installed Monkey and Workbench, so maybe I'd already completed alot of the heavy lifting in installing those.

In any case, I'll let the Line 6 folks chime in, but I wouldn't give up all hope on Edit.....

Now that Line6 Edit is no longer supported, I do not know how I am supposed to transfer downloaded patches to my PODxt.

POD Farm offered no functionality to transfer patches, nor did it see or support my device. (PODxt)

The FAQ for PODxt still refers me to Line6 Edit to transfer patches, but the application is no longer offered or supported. I found a download link online for it from a third party, but the application will not run after it installs, as it is looking for an outdated version of Java Runtime.

-YES: I have updated drivers and firmware for my PODxt through Line6 Monkey.

-YES: I have ensured that my PODxt is connected through USB and powered on.

-YES: I have searched for this answer on these support forums already and AGAIN, have been referred to software that is no longer available or supported.

Please explain to me what I need to download and install in order to transfer my downloaded patches to my PODxt.
