Sounds like you got the setup all worked out correctly. I agree with grimm26, try amp or line to see which level works better with your amp. If you are going for a more true preamp model, I would suggest that you disable cab modeling, although give it a shot, as it will change the low end response of your tone. There is no right or wrong way to do it, just as long as it sounds good to you.

Sounds good to me. You don't have to turn off the cab sim but it is recommended. You should also set the output mode to stack power amp. You might want the 1/4 out at amp level instead of line level, not sure what the renegade expects.

Also if im using the preamp only on the pod do i have to turn speaker cab off??

Ok guys, so i love the sound im geting with some of the F-Ball patches I created on my pod so i want to set something up to use plugging the pod into the FX return on my Egnater, using the pod as my pre amp and the Eganter's power amp section. So what im looking to do is set the F-Ball amp model to Pre only (not full), output mode to live in the back, unbalanced outputs set to amp on the back and running the cable from the L(mono) unbalanced output to the Egnaters FX return...does that sound right?? Any other steps that i need to do also? Any help would be great guys thanks!!!!
