Hello,

When I purchased my Line 6 Spider IV 150 I thought i would be able to make it sound like the (now obsolete) Galien Krugger 212. So far I am very dissapointed. I play mostly Southern Rock and the salesman at Best Buy recommended that I purchase a Marshall. But, instead I brought the line six thinking that it would be more versitile. Since the amp did not come with any instructions I am having great difficulty trying to get maximum sustain with clean distortion out of it. Too many knobs, lights, and weird sounds that I really don't need for my style of playing. Did i buy a heavy metal amp when I should have purchased a Marshall or is there a way to get the sound I want out of my Line 6 without all of the extra effects?

Thanks,

David Coutcher
