Is it just the heavy duty VDI cable. I haven't heard of this. As for the battery. You should be fine leaving it. I have two batteries and I keep one charged up full at all times. I will switch it out when the one I am using gets down to one light and the backup always has a full charge. I would like to use just the VDI cable but I am having volume issues with it.
