A curious backtrack behaviour.

Hello all,

I have a backtrack+mic device and i use it to record my guitar lesson with the teacher.

Even if I mark very few events I found lots of marked recordings which are unwanted: they should stay in the unmarked directory and they didn't since I never pushed the mark button all that times.

How can it happen?

Note... The events are captured with mic in soft autocapture mode.

Backtrack input setting help

Hi,

Is there a way to set the auto-capture input below soft ? I`m playing with headphones plugged into guitar multieffect and Backtrack plugged into output of the multieffect. I have to turn the volume of the FX really loud for Backtrack to start capturing, but thats not good for my ears. I know that this can`t be done with setup utility so I`m thinking of hacking the SETTINGS.bin directly.

Why the software isnt more flexible on that issue would also like to know.

I'm a developer of a piano practice oriented midi sequencer.

It currently runs only on windows, but I'd like to port it to Android.

SO YOU knowwww what I want...:)

I don't care about audio or any of that.

Just midi i/o.

Reading notes from a keyboard and writing notes back.

Over a midi line converted to android USB port.

and, thing is, I have 3 midi instruments - weighted keyboard, lite keyboard, 3 pedal unit.

I would LOVE to be able to listen to all 3 and write to at least 1 of em.

Why am I looking to rewrite my app for android?

Well, you've seen that Nexus10, right?

I'd even prefer learning Java to objective C.

Line6 Backtrack constant white light - device not working

Hi,

I did recently restore defaults (formated the device) and since then the Backtrack does not work. It goes through light change proces after connected to the PC, gets detected and then white steady light comes and stys like that. I also tried to find the way of updating firmware version as my is 0.10.0A (not sure if it current) but there is nothing available from Line6. I am usinging it (wen it works) on Windows7.

Anyone had same issue?

What will happen if I press the Rest button???

Will it delete all the files inside??

It's been acting really funny--instead of a start-up white, it's just purple and unresponsive. I plugged it into my computer [that usually gets it going again] but it's still purple and...unrepesonsive. HELP???

GarageBand & Midi Mobilizer

Help! I cannot get Midi Mobilizer to work with GarageBand on my iPad. My Midi Mobilizer works fine with the midi memo recorder app - so I know the hardware is ok. No where on YouTube can I find a video on iPad's GarageBand playing a midi file with the Midi Mobilizer. Odd. The adervisting from Line 6 states that it does work?! Is there something simple I am missing. In short, I want a track in GarageBand to be a midi file that plays my Roland digital piano along with the other tracks I have recorded from guitar etc.

This accessory is not supported by Ipood touch.

I have the midi mobilizer one.

It was working then now when I plug the device into the Ipod I get this

"This accessory is not supported by Ipood touch."

I did a reset but have not done a hard reset as im unsure how to backup the data from the ipod.

The mobilizer is totally dead, not working and error

Hello, this is a great device only my problem with it is that it won't pick up my mandolin unless I thump the instrument which really defeats the purpose, it works perfectly when I switch it on to the red light mode but this isn't great for looping etc, I have a Fishman pick up on the mandolin which should be good enough, I've tried all the parameters in the set up (I think),..... any tips

Does BT cause any tone degradation when placed in effects chain in front of amp?

For those people concerned with keeping tone quality intact as much possible, has anyone that uses a BackTrack/BT+ noticed any "tone suck," degradation, or coloration when placing the device in your effects chain?

I wouldn't want to connect the BT between my amplifier head and speaker cabinet, because it's post power section, right?

Midi Memo Stop & Rewind buttons?

Hi All,

Complete newbie here and just playing around with my Midi Mobilzer II and Midi Memo App on my Ipod Touch.

I have succesfully imported (via the record button), an SMF midi file into the app and can play it fine.

Trouble is I cannot see a stop button or a rewind button, only a pause button. If I want to stop the track and start it again from the beginning I have to close the app and re-open it.

I cannot believe this is how the program functions and would dearly like to know what I am doing wrong.

Please help.
