Dear support/community,

I've just installed FBV control software (version 1.03) through monkey for my FBV express mkII. It all seems fine, but when I run it the logo/startup screen appears and then it just stays ('loading') forever. OK, I don't know about forever, but for more than 15mins which is the longest I've left it. Running vista 32 bit ( I know, bad choice, that's a whole other conversation). My pod x3 seems to work fine connected up to the laptop and also the FBV pedal works fine connected directly to the pod x3 (through the ethernet cable, no usb involved).

Any known issues or ideas how to get the software working? I've re-installed drivers and software a couple of times already and it makes no difference...

Thanks for any help,

Fraz

hello fraz

do you have any 'virtual Midi cables' installed on your PC?

please try uninstalling it and launch FBV Control again

Hi antonio

Thanks for the tip. I have uninstalled my virtual midi cable (Hurchalla Maple, http://www.maplemidi.com/Maple_driver.html ) and it works! Thanks. I do need virtual midi cables though. If i re-install, will it start to hang again? Are there any virtual cables known to be compatible? I can always try different configurations myself, just wondering if there is any knowledge on this to save me time.

I appreciate the help, thanks,

fraz

Hello again,

That's great, all working now. Awesome support!

For the record, it works with LoopBe1 as you suggested. It also works fine with the virtual cables that are part of Bome's Midi Translator Pro, which is what I have settled on now.

Cheers antonio, good work!
