You may experience blackout/shadowing in the Dock.

This is an issue if your Mac has the ATI Radeon 9200 video card in it; that card doesn't support Core Image and can cause these blackouts. The only current work around is to replace your video card: we would suggest contacting your nearest Apple Store directly for a recommendation.
