Each version of Reason has its own upgrade path. If you buy the wrong upgrade for your registered version of Reason, the upgrade ID/verification number won't work and will not produce a usable license.

• A Retail version is only upgraded with a standard Retail Upgrade.

• An Academic version is only upgraded with a standard Retail Upgrade.

• An EDUx1 version is only upgraded with an EDUx1 upgrade.

• An EDUx5 multi-pack is only upgraded with an EDUx5 upgrade.

• An EDUx10 multi-pack is only upgraded with an EDUx10 upgrade.

• Reason Adapted can be upgraded with the Reason 4 Adapted Upgrade. It will upgrade ANY version of Reason Adapted to a full version of Reason.

• NFR's cannot be upgraded
