If anyone is having problems with their USB connection dropping out on a regular basis, the problem may be down to the length of your USB cable.  This happened to me after I moved my PODxt Pro to another location in my room which required a longer USB cable and after many months of re-installing drivers, moving it back and using a shorter cable solved the problem. :-)
