L3s Mono/stereo Question

The L3s has stereo inputs. If you just hook up one of them with a mono signal, will it "figure it out" and drive both internal speakers?

_{It has stereo inputs but it's not a stereo speaker, so no matter how you use it the entire sub is going to be active.  I think the idea of the stereo inputs/outputs is so that you can come out of a stereo board to the left and right inputs of the sub, the sub will sum and pump out the bottom end of both inputs and then pass the stereo inputs intact to the stereo outputs so that they can be fed to the left and right main speakers.  It's more of a connection thing than a mode of operation for the L3s.}
