Hi guys,

can anyone tell me the difference between the 2 bodypacks, the TX75 and the TBP12G? The first one is included in the XD-V75HS-headset system, the second one in the Relay G50. Can I use them both for guitar AND headset? Or does the TBP12G not provide the necessary voltage for the headset?

Thank you very much!!!

Hardware wise they are identical, only the firmware is different.  So yes, you can use a headset with the Relay model.

Could you detail the firmware differences?

Are transmitter firmware reflashable?

If so, can transmitters get a new "personality" by e.g. flashing TBP12G firmware onto TX75?

Thanks.

Is the TBP12G the only model with "power save" feature? I am being told a 90 day wait to buy a separate belt pack for additional guitars. Why is the G model not readily available but thye vocal model is? Is that because Line 6 is overstocked with these mic models and trying to clear them out? I like the power save feature because it adds 2hrs of battery time at close range which is where I always am and it also has a feature for naming the unit to match the instrument or the user etc. Mic model does not have this either.

All of the  TBP12 transmitter have the ability to switch between high and low power and to name the unit.  The V75 units have additional features that are not included in the Relay versions.

Inventory situation is being hampered by a dock worker's strike.  We just got our November boats unloaded last week.

Hi,

I've just bought a Line6 Relay G55 radio system and intend to buy another transmitter so I can switch between my basses. My question is, if I buy a TBP12G transmitter, what is the difference between the TBP12 (no prefix G) supplied with the G55 Relay System and the TBP12G.Also, will there be anything I would have to do before using the 2 Transmitters?

Thanks

Donald
