Backtrack Flashes Blue  - but won't capture.

I recorded one band rehearsal with forced capture and then transfered the files to my IMAC and deleted them from the backtrack.  It will only flash blue now and won't capture at all.

 

I saw a thread about hidden files that may be telling the unit it is still full?  It seems everyone in that thread in May had to send their units back.

 

Do I need to send this back or is there now a fix?

 

Please advise what I need to do, as the unit does nothing now...

    Hello,

        did you delete ALL the files on the Backtrack?  If so, there may be an internal error.  Try a factory reset by manually pressing a small object (like a paper clip) into the small hole on the side of the Backtrack. The hole is located on the opposite side of all the UI controls (Backtrack) or on the side opposite the microphone (Backtrack + Mic). Hold the button down for three seconds and then remove the paperclip. The LED on the device will glow white, blink a few times, and then begin blinking blue. You have now successfully reset your Backtrack.

      Yes, give our Service Department a call at: 818-575-3600 (8AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time, Monday-Fridays). Select the Service queue to speak with the administrator for an RMA.

       

      Please note: we'll be closed Thursday and Friday of this week in observance of Thanksgiving.
