hey guys, i own a b-52 ls 100 amp head (and the ls412 cab to go with it but i dont need that to record w/o mic so its not important), and there is a slot on the back to do a direct recording through it. i was wondering if the toneport ux2 could be used to direct record through that specific record out jack on the back of the amp head to record my guitar tones. i have two programs i can use to record the amp, FL Studio 8 XXL, and Sony Acid (dont know which one).
im just geting the basis of home recordings down. i have already recorded demos with my ux2, and the programs gearbox or pod farm
I dont use the ux2 so I'm not familiar with it completely. You could try the direct out on the head
to the guitar input on the UX2 and see what it sounds like recorded. Is there another input on the
UX2 besides the guitar inputs? If you have a separate sound card you could go from direct output
on the head to the input on the sound card and bypass UX2. Let us know how it works out!
there are line inputs on the back of hte ux2, i can go back into the online manuel and see what those are for.
ill try it out later today and see how it sounds, and if it sounds good ill probably record a demo
Stay in the mix and in the know.
