Trouble recording with POD X3 in REAPER

Well alright, whenever I try to record with REAPER using my POD X3, I press record and play but the track is blank. I set up REAPER's preferences to recognize my POD but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?
I dont use reaper but all daws are the same in this instance. Are you "arming" the track you're recording to? If you arent sure then open reapers help menu and find track arming. See if that resolves the prob.
Yeah the track is armed. I just can't record with reaper. I was trying to record using audacity and see if i could open the files in reaper but i can't do that either.
Well I have managed to find a way to convert my Audacity projects into .wav format and open them up on Reaper, so the problem has been in a way solved. Still would like to do it direct, so if anyone can help thanks!
Try changing the driver of the program. The most popular is MME it works for almost anything but try the others. You should have the option for ASIO and WDM. That should solve it for you and it should be in the "audio" portion of the "tools" tab of the program.
