300 parts  on ebay

theres  someone  parting out a 300 on ebat   everything  is there  plus  the xps   and power supplu  if anyone  is  interested

    Boy, he really parted it out. He's selling every little piece separately, some with a buy it now price ($50 for knobs!!), some a straight auction. Interesting. I also see someone's got a body and neck of a 500 like mine up there. I'm curious to see what he ends up getting for it. Mine's just wasting away. If I thought someone would buy it, I'd stick a pickup on it and sell it.

      yeah i questioned  him about the  new  tag  on the  coffin assembly.  his reply was   it was never  used   so its  new.   hmmmm    i found  that a bit hard  to believe. i guess theres  more  money in parts  than  guitars   theres  alot of parted  out guitars  on ebay.  the  ones  that really get me   are the ones  marked  u-fix.  mostly  broken  headstovks  and  most of them  are  epiphones.  i guesss thats  common  but  i have  five epis  and  never  had  a  problem.   maybe  they  formerly  belonged  to pete  townsend

        Yeah, I've seen those broken epis, and been tempted to get one when I was looking at transplanting. That must be someone that has an "in" at the distribution point and gets all the broken ones in shipping for a song. Some guys in the reranch forum pick those up sometimes and fix them. They get a new guitar for practically nothing, since it doesn't take them much material at all to fix them, since they have the tools already.
