Extension leads

Hi!
I'm about to put the Guts of a 500 into my Epiphone 335 dot and am thinking of mounting the selector switch on the top horn of the Guitar this would mean extending the 5 yellow wires to the selector.Rather than cut and resolder longer wires in I am hoping somebody out there makes custom cables with a male and female socket that would extend the said wiring without having to convert it.Failing this does anyone know the make of connectors used so that I could make my own cable up and so not butcher the original wiring this would also give me the benifit of being albe to put it all back into the Variax body at a later time. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.Harry
why not just put it right next to the dot pickup toggle that would save all that work and probably look better id mount it so it toggles in the same direction as the existing pickup switch. ive got a dot nice guitar and i was thinking of doing that a while back and that was how i planned to mount it in mine.
Thanks for the promt reply. Well yes I had thought about mounting it at that point but it would be getting a bit cluttered down there what with the 5 way switch and the 3 way for switching from mag to variax, also if mounted on the top horn it far easier to see what selection it is set on and if a custom lead is available would be an easy option to do.Many thanks for your imput H
